Syntithenai is one of the songs in Turned To Dust that I had free
reign to create the visuals for, and it is by far the one I am the
most proud of. With five distinct sections (at least with how they
are set up internally), it was certainly an ordeal to complete, but
boy did it pay off.
It's rare that you see a Friday Night Funkin' mod with an original
visual style, and I wanted to change that. For Flowey's model in
particular, I chose to take a similar approach to how Omega Flowey's
original appearance was created, and mash together assets from all
over the place. Some textures were taken from decades-old stock
material CDs, some were taken from images from the web, and some
parts of the model itself are dissected from larger, more
purpose-built models.
